Little Boys Love Wild Animal Projects
I love shopping for fabric at Connecting Threads! They now sell other party's fabric lines and this one was too hard to pass up! Check it out! It is called Wild North by Gareth Lucas . I had this project in mind as soon as I saw the panel of animals...a fabric baby book. Each row had enough for 8 pages but it left two animals out. So I fussy cut around the two animals found in another row and raw edge appliqued one for the cover and one inside the back page. It worked well. I also purchased some yardage of their animal print. I used it for the cover piece. Sorry the pictures are sideways...technology and me! Haha! Aren't these neat animals?! My 3 year old is loving looking at them, although I actually made it for the 2 month old. They will enjoy it together! I added the little flap as a closure, just need to add some velcro to finish it off. My three year old also asked for a backpack recently.
