Entryway Into Our Offgrid Abode.

I can't post the last few quilting finishes because they haven't been delivered.  Here is a house project that is close to finished!
Our entryway!
Here she is, just a front door and some subfloor.
We did 2 layers of subfloor for extra strength. This little guy LOVES power tools whereas our big guy still doesn't love the loud noises. Kids can be so different!
Next up, the half wall shared by the livingroom. It is so nice not to have the boys throwing things through there anymore!
Behind my husband you will now see a wall as well. My sewing room is on the other side. No more piling things on Miss Vivian. And then the tile...
We got this big Grey tile on an auction and ended up just a few short. The only thing in this size they had in our nearby small town was the dark grey...we aren't too picky.

We had to barricade these two out for the gluing and grouting...so much help.
Our auction cabinet in place to cover that hole.
I love the cedar on the wall!! I added a bunch of coat hooks along here. The shelf on top will hold all of the things that will inevitably get placed there.
My husband added in this lovely bench, leaving the little guy access to the window. He loves that he can see out that one!
Rugs are a must! This is real life here and we see a lot of dirt.

 We love it!

Alissa
