Project 366- July 14, 2008
"A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing..." I have that some stuck in my head. It's a good song. Tonight when I got home from work I had the house all to myself for a bit. Mom and the kids were off to dog practice and dad wasn't home yet. I talked to Travis for a few minutes, my car was over heating. Dad put some antifreeze in it and hopefully that will help. We were in thunderstorm warning from 7-11pm tonight and it was so awe inspiring. God's amazing creation at work! The clouds rolled in beautifully right as dad finished milking the cow. Then the wind came, and I mean wind! You could look out across the alfalfa field and see the sheets of rain whipping about in the wind. It was so hot and humid today that the cool gusts of air were quite welcome. We didn't blow away, although that was the worry of some.
