Oh, the beauty of a full night's sleep! After waking up rested, Aubrey and Joy made pancakes for breakfast. I will confess that I had no hand in the meal preparation. I'm a slacker:S The house we stayed at was in Elizabethtown which is near Hershey, PA. Since we were nearby, they drove me to see the FREE Hershey museum tour:) It was cute and fun. There is a theme park there and I could almost hear the rollercoasters calling to me, but alas we are poor:) On our way back to Lancaster we passed a cute little mini golf/go kart place. There was a castle on the mini golf course so we decided to give it a go. Hehe, I love mini golf...I lost:) It rained a little bit on us, but we made it through. We were actually going through the tunnel hole when it started. Our next stop was the Masonic Village in E-town. It was really cool, tons of stone buildings with beautiful landscaping. We stopped at the formal gardens and romped around a bit. Most of the flowers haven't bloomed yet, but it

I made it to Pennsylvania!!!! I slept on both of my flights, not as much on the one to Chicago. I got on in Omaha and the man next to me started chatting with me. He was from south of London, England and I had no problem staying up awhile to listen to him talk;) It was nice to tell someone of the beauties of Nebraska too! Poor Aubrey had some trouble getting to the airport, crazy directions, so I waited and read Jane Eyre. I haven't read it in a really long time! She got me, amidst the rain that appears to have followed me here, ARG! It was so good to be able to talk with her again. It took us about 1.5 hours to get to Lancaster which was a very pretty drive. We met up with Joy at Texas Roadhouse for supper. Once we got back to Joy's place we decided to go stay at Aubrey's aunt's house. Her relatives our out of town for two weeks and she is housesitting their very LARGE house for them. It was super nice. I fell asleep during the movie that we watched, can you believe it

Garden Center! "I" helped Jackie by watering the outdoor plants before I came;) Haha. It did brighten up a bit today instead of raining ALL day. I was planning on leaving for Omaha right after work since I fly out tomorrow at 6am, but... I am not that smart. Tonight was Bunco and I love Bunco! It is my social event of the month!! So instead, I stayed for Bunco and had a fabulous time. I got home, slept and hour and a half and then drove to the airport...3.5 hours in the middle of the night. Alissa

It was a Mommy-less day. She went with Grandma to Lincoln for an appointment. Grandma doesn't like to drive very far alone. That left me home with the kids and IN CHARGE;) Hehe, such power! We did our school for the day. It is so neat for me to be able to help with that and actually do it myself today. I plan on homeschooling my own children someday and I love having some ideas for how I can do it myself. Brenna and Quinn are so smart...they do so well. I spent atleast 3 hours mowing today. First I did our yard. I think I burnt my hair part:S Ouch. After I finished we walked down to the park, Brenna rode her bike. We played hide and seek and set up obstacle courses, they wore me OUT! As soon as we got back to the house I had the kids pack up a little bag of things to do and we walked down to the school so I could mow there. It was nice. After mowing I had to get supper in the oven. I had never cooked a whole fryer chicken before and it was a learning experience. Hehe, I've deci
