Meet Miss Vivian and Her First Creation!

I have been quilting now for over 15 years.  I have done some quilting for others and I have quilted all of my own quilts.  I began only doing hand quilting until my hands and wrists protested loudly.  Then I moved on to my treadle machine which I use for 95% of my sewing.  I never planned on getting a long arm quilting machine.  On my own I didn't have the room and they are quite expensive.  My quilting has always been just a hobby income, nothing substantial enough to justify that kind of investment. Well, I have been blessed with a gift! A friend of a friend did professional quilting back in like the 80s an 90s I think.  She moved to a retirement home and instead of selling her long arm frame and machine with all her other stuff on an auction she wanted to give it to someone who would appreciate it and use it... ...and I have been fortunate to be blessed with this gift. Wow! Just wow! So wonderful and we do actually have room for it! I am so thankful and so excited to see what M
