Choose Life. Everyone deserves a chance at this life. God creates each one of us as individuals and knows us even in the womb. Today was Life Chain Sunday. A day to stand up for those children across our town and give them a voice. My mom's been organizing the Life Chain in our county for 17 years. This year was cool and blustery but it didn't stop 80 people from coming and standing for life. Brenna held her sign through the entire hour this year. She's grown up a lot since last October. Her birthday is coming soon...wow she'll be 9! We had some very good conversations during the Life Chain today. Church potluck was very slim on desserts this week so we went to Runza for ice cream. Yum! Berwyn isn't much of a community. The only thing the "community" does is raise money for the volunteer fireteam with a pancake feed. Brenna and Quinn think it is the best thing. Check out what one of the chicks left for us today! It is a bullet and it's the size of Brenna's head!! Tonight was the 4-H trail ride and hot dog roast at the Popp's. We all had steeds to ride and off we went. Psst, the Popp's have a LOT of old cars and stuff everywhere! I just wanted to roam around and take picture...but Doc had other ideas. We headed out for a leisurely ride along the river. Mine wasn't quite leisurely most of the time. I kept loping Doc in huge circles (praise the Lord we weren't on a contained path) and he tried hopping around a bit sometimes. I guess I created some entertainment for those behind me;) I'll be sore though, he jostled me a lot. Doc got worn out after awhile and in between his exciting spurts I had a lovely time taking in the scenery and chatting with those nearby. Once back, we unsaddled and hopped into pickups to go back down to the river for a campfire. Quinn and I walked part of it so I could take some pic
