Hmm, well here I am.

Whew! I'm beat. I watched 7 kids today! Five of them were extras, their grandma needed the day off:) We had lots of fun and I sure had my hands full. I mentally did a head count every 10 minutes. Sometimes that was a little tricky, I'd have 2 downstairs, 3 outside and two in Brenna's room. I probably spent more time running around to do headcount:) They were all so well behaved and they played and played and played. This little guy was having a blast with the hats, he looked so comical:) Quinn now has an invisible friend named Jim Loosen. He and Quinn were just have a brawl. It is hilarious to listen to him tell me all about what is happening:) Alissa

Trenches, working in the trenches. The snow is melting all over our back yard and it is making a bit of a mess. Both of the corrals on the west side look more like lakes and the water isn't exactly clean;) Dad made some trenches last night to try and drain some water out. I spent a lot of time today keeping the trenches cleared out and even making a few new ones. Brenna helped some and mom "supervised" some too. I had to stop and go into our bi-monthly meeting at Backbone. I even got lunch out of the deal. It was a beautiful spring day + a heap o'wind. I spend as much time outside as I could. We let the goats out together and found a spot out in the sun for the calf. All in all it was a highly successful day. Alissa

We started our new "setup" at Backbone today. It didn't go quite as planned, but we are working on the kinks:) I did get to take a late lunch with this schedule and go see Brenna sing at the homeschoolers nursing home day. They are just too cute and funny! Brenna was so excited about the hat that Grandma gave her, she's sporting it here for you. Alissa
