I was busy today. This is the first project I attacked. I attacked it and finished it, hurray! The inside lining is the same red bandana material. I ordered a couple other purse patterns to try. I can't wait for them to get here:) I also got the top for a table runner finished. Next step, the quilting. It is a red, white and blue theme with stars and stripes. I think it turned out great, better than I thought it would. Mom and the kids were in town until early afternoon for a MOPS meeting. That gave me plenty of me time. Project 366 picture: I love this weather we're having and today it just made me want to take a ramble through the field behind our house. I invited the kids along, but they had other ideas. Quinn has recently been really into riding the bike he got for his birthday. He wanted to go for a ride in town instead...so I changed my plan. They are so precious and growing up so fast. This sign made me chuckle. No more school kids in Berwyn to watch for

"I've been working on the railroad, all the livelong day..." There were swarms of men working on the rail today. Looks like they are getting a lot done, huh?;) I worked. I did a lot and left a lot to do. Connie and I had a good time, no pet peeves today. We are good at distracting each other:) Tonight Quinn looked so cute eating his corn. Alas, this was all he'd let me take for a picture. He really objected quite a lot to even this. It was good corn, straight out of our garden!! Maybe tomorrow we can have some of our potatoes:) What is your guess about this picture? A bit perplexing isn't it? Well, mom was walking Sugar around, merrily as they go and decided she'd try and walk her up on the porch to say hello to dad inside. It didn't work. She wasn't a fan of the steps, but it sure was fun to watch:) Project 366 picture: I spent my evening mowing, and mowing and mowing. I seemed to take longer just because the sun was slowing going dow

God's holiness is so astounding, so awe-inspiring, so humbling, so incomprehensible! I look forward to the day when I can join the hosts of heaven and cry, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!" One year at Challenge Youth Retreat we tried something. The speaker had us, all 5,000+ of us, split into sections of the stadium. We then did kind of a round of "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!" It was so cool! The staggering thing of heaven is that we can only catch a milliglimpse. We stopped and went on with the night, but in heaven the hosts are doing that now...without ceasing. Our God is so worthy of all praise. Church was good. Pastor Bob's sermon was on the holiness of God and it reminded of that night in Fort Collins 10 years ago. Eek...was that really 10 YEARS AGO!!?? I feel old. Anywho...after church we went back to Alco to look at fabric. I was in a much better state of mind and I had my handy-dandy mother to help in the decision of colors
