Backbone. I worked at the Backbone. Sums up the day. Hehe, I got off early and I beat my mom home from the kids' 2:00pm practice. What can I say...I'm speedy;) I read outside in the setting sunshine. So lovely is a good book. This morning as I was heading to my car I noticed the beautiful sunrise over our school:) Two more days until the deal closes and it is OFFICIALLY OURS!! Alissa P.S. Don't worry Derek...we're leaving all the asbestos in the building. :)

Wow, I love spring days!!! Seth and Julia headed back to Lincoln straight from church. I hope that something small even was impressed upon their hearts. Our afternoon was fab! Mom and I napped first and then she, the kids, Molly and I went for a walk to the park. We pulled a wagon along filled with their rollerskates. Dad came down and met us at the park once he finished planting the potatoes. We had a grand old time cruising the streets of Berwyn. We stopped and looked at our school, I enjoyed the swings the most. Altogether it was a day filled with fellowship, the Lord's goodness and the love of a family! Alissa

Twas a beautiful Saturday. Seth and Luke got the Z-car running and the fenders back on it. The girlfriends watched on together. It was so nice to know that the house was so clean...it left leisure time! I took the kids and dogs for a walk. We had fun and saw a lot. Quinn and I tracked a few deer and even a raccoon's tracks:) He was muy impressed by that adventure. There were already people at the park, with a dog, so we just kept on walking the streets of Berwyn. It was pretty windy but it calmed down later in the afternoon. I took the opportunity to ride Doc. I rode Flicka a few weeks ago and she was neurotic! Doc is so much calmer!! Julia took a turn on him too. She's sweet. The kids painted some pictures with their tempura paints. I even took a stab at it and the result was not to bad...if I do say so myself. Alissa
