A Slagle Thanksgiving.
We have had a bit of an evolving in our holiday celebrations. Our family used to celebrate with my great-aunt's side of the family as well. As the grandkids have gotten married and had children it makes for a lot of people. Sadly, we have kind of stopped getting all together. I miss it and seeing those members of my family:( The last two years we actually went to friends since there was no gathering. This year we hosted the Slagle Thanksgiving:) It was a joy filled day. We made some ship centerpieces filled with mixed nuts. Yummo, turkey!! We didn't do anything too special, just enjoyed one another's company. Amazingly too, there wasn't a lot of heckling. I love my family. Mom made these cute little nametags for our places. Cute, huh! Poor little Molly was part of the "entertainment." She waited until the next night to have 3 little puppies.
