What a brilliant Sunday! It was so warm and sunshiny outside when I woke up. I got myself all ready and then proceeded to fix devilled eggs for potluck. I wore my brown and white dress from Shilo's wedding. I felt so cute, no matter what the truth was, I felt, therefore I was:) Amelia's school choir did the service for us and they were wonderful. I loved the handbell choir, such lovely chords flowed about the room. They even made Zaccheus sound lovely and lilting:) It was also nice to see young people at church. I met several of the girls and they were so sweet. It was nice to see Jenny again too, she cracks me up. We carrot-bottoms must stick together;) Hurray for friends. I'm so excited that I'll have not only Clara, but also Amelia here for the summer. Lovely! At home, mom, dad, and I enjoyed quite a lengthy afternoon nap. It felt so nice. Then we headed to the garden for some good, dirty fun. We planted our tomato plants, zinnias, and corn. It was just such a glorio

My final Saturday at the Garden Center!! I'm not very fond of sharing my Saturdays. I suppose I should work on that:S It was a good day, the rain even stopped after awhile. Hurray for the end of my curse, I hope. We'll see what next Thursday will bring:) At lunch I went to Tomahawk Park to eat. Hehe, I watched as atleast 20 cars had to turn around. You see, due to the rain, the low area crossing was gated off. The water was high and running fast. Lots of water, folks! I spent a lot of the afternoon helping Jackie and Lacey with plants. We weren't as busy as was anticipated, but still had a pretty steady flow. Good day. Alissa

Happy 6th Birthday my little Quinn!! I can't believe he is that old!! It is Marci's birthday too, but I'll not share her age:) Hehe, when I went home at lunch I learned of an accident in our family. The ninja turtle cake...lost a leg. We are opting for pieces of cake, forget the decorating:) Anywho...work was good. It rained and rained and rained. All the creeks along the highway were swollen and spilling out. Crazy amounts of rain. Praise the Lord! Fill up that ground water! Tonight Dan and Beth came over to celebrate Quinn's birthday. Grandma is in Denver for the weekend so she couldn't make it, busy lady;) We had a good time. Dan has a beard!! I should have gotten a picture of it, shucks. Thank you Lord for blessing our family with Quinn David. He has a compassionate heart and I can't imagine life without my baby brother. Alissa
