Yesterday was Grandma's birthday. Grandmas are hard to buy gifts for, but this year she made it easy on us. She didn't want anything but our time and effort, some help around the place. The beckon went out and we arrived upon the scene. Hehe, her dog got a new do and is hardly recognizable from what it was before. She is shaking her head here as if to say, "I'm worth it!" Mom and Brenna helped Grandma in the house, Dad mowed the lawn as well as picked up branches with me, and I, I was allowed to peruse through Grandma's shed. Project 366 picture of the day is the lovely Sandhills Scenic Byway Interpretive Center. I'm actually excited for it to be finished and open, just curious to see what they'll have inside. It looks sharp, they just finished the paint job. I'm biased though, because I LOVE barns! I worked alone today. Marci has been told by the doc to take it easy until el babo comes. I rushed home from work, threw on some different clothes and hopped in the van with mom. Tonight was our church ladies monthly gatheri

Another ending for me has come. This was my final day to work at the Garden Center. My time was not wasted either. I finished all my allotted "chores" and did some basting to my purse/bag. Looking good, huh? Libby got left alone with me for a little while and so she watched for Connie's return with sad eyes. Poor sad Libby, she's been a bit sick lately with some puppy allergies. Glad to see she was well enough to come greet today:) Yes, this was my last day. You see Dr. Hackel's wife works Thursdays at the chiro and she's having a baby in a few weeks or less. I'm going to be working there on Thursdays now in her stead and will not be carrying on at GC. I'll miss hanging with the Squiers, the plants and this swing. Isn't it an awesome swing? I almost told Connie she could give it to me as a wedding present, but I decided against it since I don't have any clue whether I'll ever get married:) It was a hard day of leaving. I felt so
