Completion!
The tie quilt is completed and given to its owner. She also asked for a couple of pillows from the leftover ties. Yesterday was my day off. I only had one thing on my list: get the treadle machine table done. I got most of the old varnish and stain off with the heat stripper, but the edges were too hard. So I bought this goop that worked great! That done, I re stained the top. Beautiful! I also did a bit of sawing. The machine that was in the table and the machine to be in the table are different brands and have different shaped bottoms. It isn't the prettiest saw job, but it will be hidden. Tada! Aunt Gladys in her new table! That wasn't the only thing I got done yesterday. I voted:) Alissa
