Taking Advantage of the Drive!
So, do you see that sign wayyyyy across that dirt area...behind the tractor...no? Haha, neither did I at first. When I took the peeps back to the airport last week I decided to find a way to involve some historical markers. Yahoo! When I saw all of the construction at this first one, where the intersection was listed as the location, I was sad. I assumed that it would for sure not be there. Trying to be optimistic I drove down the little road a little and I'm soooo glad I did! Look what was hiding in the tall grass! I was so excited! I did pray the whole way over the the marker that there wasn't any poison ivy:) I set my camera up on its little cute gorilla pod and set the timer...nothing. Ahhhhh! I have yet to determine why, but the timer didn't work. Therefore, all marker pictures on this trip are the "self-portrait" kind where you hold the camera out in front of you and hope you get everything in the picture. See.
