Project 366- May 17, 2008

Oh, the beauty of a full night's sleep! After waking up rested, Aubrey and Joy made pancakes for breakfast. I will confess that I had no hand in the meal preparation. I'm a slacker:S

The house we stayed at was in Elizabethtown which is near Hershey, PA. Since we were nearby, they drove me to see the FREE Hershey museum tour:) It was cute and fun. There is a theme park there and I could almost hear the rollercoasters calling to me, but alas we are poor:)

On our way back to Lancaster we passed a cute little mini golf/go kart place. There was a castle on the mini golf course so we decided to give it a go. Hehe, I love mini golf...I lost:) It rained a little bit on us, but we made it through. We were actually going through the tunnel hole when it started.

Our next stop was the Masonic Village in E-town. It was really cool, tons of stone buildings with beautiful landscaping. We stopped at the formal gardens and romped around a bit. Most of the flowers haven't bloomed yet, but it was still exquisite. No one else was there either. It made for some awesome photo opportunities!

My dear Tori drove out from Philly to join us for supper and the hot tub. I love seeing my friends!!! We ate at Lancaster Brewing Company. I had the delicious White Chicken Chili, yum! I can officially now say that beer is DISGUSTING, from experience. The girls wanted to try the samples and so I tried it just to see what all the fuss is about. I thought I was going to vomit! I haven't missed out on ANYTHING in that arena!

We ended our night with a dip in the hot tub. I think it was the first time I've been in a hot tub while it is raining out. It was good to sit and talk with the girls. I had to say good bye to Aubrey after that. She had a bridal shower to go to on Sunday so she went home for the night. Good times!
