Project 366- November 15, 2008

Brenna went to play at a friend's house today. That meant Quinn had mom and I all to himself. First, he had us take off the top bunk, but leave the sides up. Crazy kid, he was worried about the top bunk breaking and falling on him in the night.
Here he is demonstrating his swordsmanship as he defends his new "castle":).
When he wasn't defending the castle, he was right by my side. He was my Gomer;) We actually got a lot of stuff done in the kitchen while mom was working. We made banana bread with the leftover bananas, a strawberry fluff dessert for potluck tomorrow, washed up all those dishes and then made cornbread to go with our soup. Whew! We were both ready to relax after that whirlwind.

And while we slaved away in the kitchen...Arthur just hung out. Doesn't this look terribly squished and uncomfortable?! I get a kick out of the hundreds of ways the cats contort themselves while "chillin". We watched some Green Acres tonight after our soup. That was followed by School House ROCK! Remember those songs? We rented it from NetFlix and there is 2 hours worth! Such fun.
I folded and put away laundry while we watched. That is when I noticed the wall next to Brenna's school desk. Artwork on display:)
