The journey.

And the true journey began...
Who knew that between Maywood and Hayes Center was this long, winding, edge of the world gravel road? It was a great drive!
And check out what is located nearly at Hayes Center in the middle of nowhere Nebraska!!! Hurray for historical markers!
Dad is pointing out the buffalo for the hunt. The Russians need help spying in them:)
It was graduation day all over the place. Even here in Hayes Center it was everyone at the school. It left the Times office wide open;) I love small old towns and I wish so many of them weren't just dying:(On to the next small town and another marker.
This one was in Palisade, where there was a prisoner of war camp during WWII.
Don't worry...there is more!
