Random Thoughts: Christmas Eve Eve

Hello there. Christmas Eve Eve is such an interesting day. It is so close to being a holiday, but it isn't. You are ready to celebrate, but you hold it in just a mite longer:) This morning I ran outside and got this shot. I think she looks rather striking against the white, frosty trees. This is a Christmas project:) A family in the area has a daughter who is ga-ga about horses. Up until this point her dad has strongly opposed ever having a horse on their place. Well, this Christmas...she is getting her horse.
They have talked her dad into trying it out. A horse trader gave us 4 horses a few months ago. They were pretty skinny and just needed a home. This paint has turned out to be very people friendly. I'm so excited that she is getting her horse!!
Brr. It is cold out today. I had to work, but was allowed to leave 2 hrs early due to the weather. Now I'm cleaning off my desk and trying to declutter:S Good luck, right?;)
This is Skippy John Jones. He is a "let it all hang out" cat. This is one of the numerous and strange positions he sleeps in. Oh, Skippy.
This is just a bit of a random post. I felt like I needed to post, but nothing spectacular or "news worthy" has really happened recently. Oh, I guess that isn't true. I've been able to spend time with Shilo twice now. I went to 'Avatar' in 3-D with her and some other old youth group people. (No, I didn't really care for the movie and OUCH, I nearly threw up after 10 minutes in 3-D). Then she and her little ones came over yesterday afternoon. I now look forward to Saturday morning!!
Well, enjoy your Christmas Eve Eve and drink something hot for me. Scratch that, I'll go get something hot...you can drink some for yourself;)
