Happy Easter.

Death came first.
Just like in our flower garden. You can see the dead, but right behind it springs up the new life.

"You are a king, then!" said Pilate
Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
--John 18:37 (as Jesus stood on trial before Pilate)

"Do you refuse to speak to me?" Pilate said. "Don't you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?"
Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin."
--John 18:10-11

Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. --John 18:16

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. --John 18:30

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. --John 18:19-20

HE IS RISEN!

P.S. God allows trials to come. I am only following Jesus, my Savior. I will not become a "follower" of any church group, organization or other believer. Christ alone.

  1. Oh, you have daffodils! Those are so lovely. I noticed the plants in our backyard, but I don't think they are blooming yet. Maybe I will plant perennial bulbs wherever I go so that people will have a surprise in the spring.
