Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time I made this quilt:)  As you can see on the edges, there are half triangles.
I couldn't throw them away.  So, I decided to finally put them into some sort of a project.
I came up with a star!
I simply need to handstitch the binding and it will be a lovely little table topper.  It feels good to do a bit of stash clearing:)
At our last MOPS meeting this quilt of Michelle's was hanging out.  I have no idea what they used it for, but I was inspired.  It is loverly.
I haven't made any Farmer's Wife quilt blocks in awhile.  These have been sitting in a pile waiting to be photographed.

I love this green fabric! I have a dress made out of it.
Once upon a time I made this Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt for my nephew.
I had pieces left over from that too.  More stash clearing!  I made this little quilt.  It is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture.  Soooo, I had to order just a little bit more to make it a proper baby quilt:)  Not sure who for yet.
I bought this little arm and collar ironing board at the rummage sale last year.  It has been shedding dead foam pieces since then.  I happened to have this loverly green fabric that actually matches the avocado green metal.  It is now cleaned and covered!
Speaking of the rummage sale...today is the day.  I have to work a short shift and then we'll see what treasures are there to find!

  2. I think that star is beautiful. I could totally see it in the center of a quilt too. Seriously, it's gorgeous. And way to get so much done!
