Finish it up Friday...My Modern JellyRoll In Cools.

Hurray for a finish!!  After making a 1600 jellyroll racer quilt top for our quilt guild service project, I decided I would try to use up the rest of a jellyroll I had on the same type of quilt.  I did not have 1600 inches.
My quilt ended up being this long panel of strips...a hard one to do anything with to complete.  I used a Connecting Threads jellyroll.  So I added these two side panels and called it good.  It is not your traditional style.  My mom thinks it is rather ugly, not her style.  It is different, not super feminine really either, but I do like it for what it is.
I threw some random stash fabrics together for the backing and then I did the stitch and flip method rather than traditional quilt and binding.  It was kind of fun and I managed to keep it smooth so that their aren't big gathers where I quilted my straight lines!!
The sun peeked out the other day and the sky was so blue, that I took it out for some shots!!
