A Denim Vest For My Helper

Every time I sit down at my sewing machine I am joined by my boys. The little one loves all things motorized and the older one instantly wants to help and make 10 projects! Haha!
The other day I humoured him and started a little denim vest. We used some denim from a pair of daddy's jeans and he chose a western print to line it with.
I am afraid he didn't do real well with stop and start nature of the project. He didn't help too much before saying he would just watch.
I didn't have a pattern handy so I just winged it using his body for the measurements.  I did pretty good this time!
We are both happy with how it turned out!
