Happy Pot Holders

Since I delivered these happy potholders today, I think it a great time to post them for a Friday finish.

A friend asked if I could make her some more substantial potholders. You know, ones that don't burn your hands through the holder itself!

Well, I had fun finding some coordinating fabrics and putting three potholders together!

I used two layers of thin cotton batting as well as one layer of insul-bright to make them thicker. And I went with denim for the backs. They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself. Now I need to make some for my own kitchen!
