Pooh Diaper Bear
When I was little and when my younger siblings were little this diaper bear hung on the wall. I took it to use for my little ones diapers when I had my first. Now that my little sister is expecting I asked how she felt about said bear...did she want it? The brothers were not so worried about the sentimentality of using their diaper bear. Haha! Anyway, she said she did not really want it but was interested in a new bear all her own. So I began the process of creating her a Pooh bear for her diapers using the leftover fabric from her baby quilt. I used the existing bear as a pattern of sorts and started off by creating a large patchwork panel. It was fun to try and fit in the fun quotes from some of the fabrics and then get it pinned for quilting. For the back I used the fat quarters of blue and one with a quote on it since there wasn't any blue used in the quilt and patchwork outer parts.
