A Fine Day For A Drive
My dear friend, Cindie has spring break this week. We were long overdue for a get-together. Soooo, that means HISTORICAL MARKER HUNT!! Saturday was National Quilting Day. I took it off from work, my family was going to be away and I was going to quilt, quilt, quilt. Alas, plans change. I had to go into work for someone, my family was sick at home and I did not get to do any quilting. Well, Tuesday was the first day of spring and I DID get to celebrate by being out in it. Cindie was driving up from Kansas and I was driving to meet her about 4 hours away. It was a lovely day for a drive. I saw the sunrise and later on the sun dogs. Do you see them on the sides? The part of the state we headed to has more of a problem with yucca plants where as we have cedar tree invasion. I decided this house is the Douglas house from Green Acres, hehe. I hit a few of the markers on my way down to meet up....
