Hmm, well here I am.

Lingering tiredness from a day of driving is still here. I got to hold baby Anne today!! I LOVE babies. It was so cold and damp today. Of course that calls atleast one of our animals to give birth:) We had goats today! One was gone when we found them, the other is so little and cute. She wasn't too into trying to eat so hopefully she will be okay. I finished my final Emily book tonight. I sympathized so much with Emily. Hehe. Oh, oh I almost forgot to share the funny from church today!! So Pastor Bob was using an illustration about sheep. Now the sheep came to a fork in the road. So he asks, "What do you think the sheep would do? He asked more than once before one bold hand popped up, Brenna's:) Her answer.... "They would step on it." Haha, she didn't even miss a beat and went right back to her coloring. Poor Pastor Bob, he giggled several times afterwards as did everyone else. Alissa

Wowsers did this day start early or what?! I drove down to North Platte with Clara and Tim. We left Tim with some birders there and headed out for some historical marker adventures. Boy, oh boy did we have adventure. The first one was probably jumping the little yellow fence to go into the Lincoln County Historical Museum:S As we were leaving a little old man drove around from the other side and he just waved. As if it were nothing to see two girls carrying tripods out of the closed museum park. Whew, I was scared! It didn't say no trespassing. Having survived that excitement we were chatting along driving through North Platte when... I saw a historical marker NOT on the list!! How exciting to find an actual extra marker. Turns out it was on one of my lists but had "destroyed" in parenthesis behind it so I discounted finding that one. We headed out and went all the way to Brule, NE...10 miles beyond Ogallala!! Sadly there were a few disappointments along the way. At one r...
