Yay, I finished another project! The fabric I used for Emmett's backpack was the perfect fit for friends expecting. I decided to use the fun print to create another faux chenille baby blanket! I had lots of good help pinning the layers together! Once again I used this tutorial method for creating this blanket. I made my first faux chenille blanket back in 2012 , my how the time flies! I also made one 4 years ago for Emmett. Anyway, it is very simple! You layer your print with three flannel layers wrong sides facing and then quilt diagonal lines at 1/2 inch apart. Simply cut through JUST the flannel layers in between each row of stitching, bind and wash! This is the top layer of flannel. I also had a brown layer and a blue, green and white plaid.
