So back to my brother and new sister-in-law's wedding gift. She requested pink and some jellyfish, his only request was green. I wasn't able to get all of their requests in on one quilt. That is where this one comes in...a green throw quilt for Quinn. I actually made this quilt years ago but never finished it. I just wanted to try the technique of using a striped fabric to make the square blocks. I began hand quilting it but fizzled out after a few blocks. So instead I put it on Miss Vivian and completed the quilting in a simple loopty-loop pattern. I didn't take the hand quilting out, it just adds "flavor"...right?! Here it is, with new found purpose! Thankfully I finished it awhile back and we no longer have that snow in the yard!! Alissa Linking up with Alycia at QuiltyGirl and TGIFF
