Bowling.

Through our county extension office the 4-H kids can be involved in a 6 week bowling club. Brenna got to watch our cousin bowl a few weeks back and so she was thrilled for the opportunity. They get to bowl 3 games every Sunday for 6 weeks, with instruction.
Brenna is so funny. She loves going and starts counting down the days on Monday. The 1 guy teaching has kind of taken her under his wing and she is doing great! She even got a strike her first day.
This week the rest of us decided to bowl. Quinn had never been bowling before either and he isn't real excited about watching Brenna do so for 2 hours. Dad gave me a run for my money. I beat him the first game and he came and got me the second. Good fun!
Quinn was hilarious. He did quite well for a first timer. He was more interested in sliding around on the floor and checking out the cartoons for gutter balls after awhile.

This is where he was most of the second game...on the floor. Such fun!

  1. Oh 4-H bowling! I took it as a project once when I was in junior high. Mostly because I thought it would be a great social hour with friends. Unfortunately, we never bowled a single game. When I took it, it was with golf and tennis. The project title was Lifetime Sports which I found really funny at the time. I think I was amused by the thought of growing old and not being able to do anything other than play golf or bowl.
