This and That.
Dad has always tried to get me to do more painting, claiming I can do just as well as some artwork you see around. I painted the rooster for the Westside Bakery and decided I'd give him a little surprise for Father's Day.
So here it is:
I had something in my head earlier that I wanted to share, but it escapes me now.
I love to see precious moments like these:
What can I say? I love babies, I love kids:)
It is such a deep love and some days I despair of ever having the joy of my own children. In truth, I have been blessed with far more children than I could ever bear. Yes, they have come into my life and mostly left...but they made their mark on my heart.
I get to spend time with six kiddos tomorrow night while their parents visit a sick family member. I will take the blessing.
Christ is my solid rock and makes my life worth living.
I'm so thankful for his "friendship." Man always leaves me desiring more.

My singleness feels like a burden at times, but knowing the Father's love sustains me.
He was a bit down and I thought a peck on the cheek would brighten his day!
He turned into a duck!?
He came home with us from the craft fair.

P.S. Did you enjoy the randomness?
Wow that duck has grown! Kate
