A Stocking To Stuff!

Ahh, it feels so good to have something quilty to share! I have been sewing little things here and there since our little guy's arrival but not much in the way of quilting.
My helper insisted on taking some pictures of me at the machine too. That gives me a chance to share my recent acquisition!! I finally found a Featherweight at a reasonable price and only an hour and a half away!! I love it!
On to the project...a stocking! The newest member of the family still needed a stocking!
I used this pattern from Suzyquilts. I was able to find enough red and green scraps, along with a nice cream on cream.
I did some simple quilting lines on both front and back.
This is part of the reason my quilting has slowed...little man is busy. He is so close to being mobile! (Ignore the mess, we are building while living in our house!)
These two are so fun!
And here is the finished product! I used some glitter glue to add his name at the top.

Nice, quick project! I will have a few more to share after Christmas gift giving has taken place. Can't keep from making some quilted gifts!😁

Merry Christmas, friends!

  1. So cute!! I need to get another stocking made, but my latest Grand won't be here until June 2025, so I might save it till next year. But I do need a pattern, so, off to check the one you used.
