Hello Kitten Carson and Baby Tel

Our older boy hasn't really had a little kitty yet. We tried one last winter but she didn't live.
He has been dragging this little guy around at grandma's house so we decided it was time.
He is really enjoying his kitty buddy. He is mostly inside so far since he adapted to the litter box so well. He did spend one night outside after climbing daddy's leg during supper! Haha!
And now for a quilty finish, hurray! Our friends welcomed a new baby boy just over 2 weeks ago. When it was planned for them to visit I knew I wanted to get them a baby quilt made. A deadline really helps get it done too.
I don't have many process pictures. Every time i layed it out someone, ahem, jumped on it. Haha, silly boy!
Anyway, I found a roping scene from a panel for the focal point. My auction fabric continues to give and i also found some fun southwestern fabric to go with the block.
This fabric is pretty busy but I wanted to get his name on there. I picked black and then also the cream to try and help it stand out.
I chose a fuzzy backing for this 36 x 36 little quilt. I did a stitch and flip with rounded corners.
Haha, he kept laying down and saying, "Night, night!" I guess it is a winner blanket in his opinion.
I quilted around the block and then around some of the rectangles in the fabric design.
I am super happy with how it turned out. Loved getting to hold a newborn again too!
Bright, fun and cuddly! I hope it is enjoyed!

Nice to have a quick finish as well!
