Two Finishes, One Quite Grand

I have two finishes to share, one crafty and one a bit more grand!
I decided this afghan i have been knitting away at was long enough.  It is quite colorful and has a beautiful weight to it since I double stranded the yarn.
I did a temperature blanket in 2023 and still had a large amount of the yarns left. I really liked the nice, flat look of the linen stitch that I learned as part of that temperature blanket. So I jumped in making this blanket in that stitch.
I just randomly changed colors as I went and of course I had to order a few more skeins...not sure my stock of yarn actually went down too much with the project! Haha! I did break three circular needles in its creation, frustrating! But now she is done, a lovely throw for our livingroom.  It is already being enjoyed!
Now the second and grander finish...our newest little one has arrived! On June 16th we found ourselves holding another little boy! We are both doing great and our big boys are quite excited about their baby.

Our second redhead, Oliver Harold. So in love!
